Downsizing from a 5,000 square foot house wasn’t an easy feat, so we kept and repurposed some of the homeowners original furnishings and filled in where necessary. Perched up high and facing Manhasset Bay, we designed the interior with neutral earth-tones to keep the focus on the incredible views. We added built-in along the entire bedroom wall to compensate for the small closets, and designed a more efficient bathroom vanity to handle bathroom storage. Custom furniture was designed for the living room, including a custom bar cabinet to fit the uniquely sized spaces. Built-ins converted a tiny spare bedroom into an efficient office including work spaces for two.
